So what is the Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management?
It is now the only Advanced Diploma level qualification designed specifically for managers and leaders working in the community sector.
It equips people to lead in a time where services (no matter whether aged care, disability, early childhood or other) are going through rapid change.
No matter how your service is funded (community, government, for profit, not for profit) all organisations require their managers to have a range of business, commercial and leadership skills in order to support the service in times of increased competition and changing funding models.
These skills sit alongside the technical industry skills of the managers to enable them to be effective leaders.
Regardless of whether an organisation works with children, people with disabilities, people who are ageing or homeless or another support need, the following skills are needed by all leaders:
All of these skills and more are included in the Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management making it ideal for leaders in this area. Additionally, at Customised Training we have chosen some electives that are specially tailored for the needs of leaders in early childhood, disability services or community services.
What if I’m interested but I’m too busy to attend classes?
