Training Coordinator

Customised Training is based in Bacchus Marsh, only 45 minutes from Melbourne CBD in the Western Suburbs.  We have been delivering accredited and non-accredited training for over 14 years.  We are committed to taking the extra steps needed to provide our clients and students with the best customer service, from enrolment to the completion of their training.

We are currently recruiting for Training Coordinator for our Health and Wellbeing Team that trains qualifications in the fields of Ageing Support, Disability Support, Individual Support, Leisure and Health, Community Services, Case Management and Community Sector Management. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Community Services Trainer with leadership experience wanting to join a fantastic, hard working organisation.

Customised Training Job Vacancy Training Coordinator

The successful candidate will have responsibilities which include:

  • Coordinate the day to day training and assessment activities of the study area.
  • Respond to, resolve and document any complaints relating to the study area.
  • Report on all team activities
  • Coordinate leave arrangements for the team.
  • Ensure all timesheets and activity reports for the team are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Mentor the team to achieve expected performance, behaviours and professionalism.
  • Ensure that the team provides excellent internal and external customer service at all times
  • Ensure the team meet the agreed KPIs
  • Assigning individual KPIs and KRAs to staff using the annual performance and development plan
  • Ensure regular team meetings are held (at least once a month)
  • Lead validation for the study area
  • Ensure monthly one to one meeting are conducted with all team members
  • Ensure adequate staff levels are maintained
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection and induction process for trainers for the team
  • Deliver and assess qualifications to the required standards of Customised Training, ASQA and Skills First funding.

Customised Training Melbourne Training Coordinator

The successful applicant will:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Trainer and Assessor in one or more of the following; Disability, Age Care, Mental Health, Leisure and Health, Community Services – Case Management or Sector Management or related
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar and/or management role within an RTO or a Higher Education provider
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  •  Have well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Have the ability to work in and motivate a team

Responsibilities
  • Foster, mentor and support your students to be successful and experience a rewarding education process.
  • Compile, facilitate and assess units of competency within your professional training discipline.
  • Contribute in assessment validation and moderation.

Essential Criteria:
  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment – inclusive of LLN Unit of Competence
  • Hold the qualification you will be training in, or higher with current and relevant industry experience.
  • A minimum of three years.
  • Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
  • Current working with children check.
  • Be passionate, knowledgeable, innovative and dedicated in your professional career discipline.
  • Exceptional people and time management skills.
  • Intermediate skills with the Microsoft Office suite.
